Registration
The registration process begins when an email goes out to returning families indicating when registration will open for the summer (typically March 1st) and the date by which returning families must register to maintain priority status.
At the same time, information for new families who are interested in joining the team will be posted on the team's website with the date and time that families should email their interest to the team's registration chair [email protected]. The waitpool is compiled on a first come, first serve basis according to the date and time of these interest emails but only emails received during the waitpool window will be considered. Early or late waitpool requests will be disregarded.
After we determine how many returning swimmers we have (approximately mid-March), we will begin contacting wait pool families letting them know we have space for their child(ren). These offers to new swimmers are contingent on passing a swim test (eligibility requirements), so it is possible that new swimmers can be added to the team as late as the end of May after the swim tests have been completed.
