PLEASE MAKE SURE TO LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL THE ATTACHED ENTRIES! We have 2 additional events next weekend that require me to send in entries to the league tomorrow evening. If your swimmer is listed and not available, please let me know ASAP so I can get a sub. As always sending your vacation/away dates to me as soon as possible is much appreciated!
What an amazing and exciting team victory yesterday against Burke Centre Penguins! Our 8 & under girls relay, 8 & under boys relay and 9/10 boys relay helped clinch the victory.
The 8 & under girls medley relay team of Marin Keyser, Sedona Springer, Julia Fairchild, and Teagan O’Reilly lowered the team record to 1:30.06.
Julia Fairchild broke the 8 & under girls 25m Freestyle record from 1996, with a new time of 16.65
Sedona Springer lowered her team record in the 25m breaststroke to 22.59.
NO PRACTICE on Tuesday JULY 4th! Enjoy the holiday and see you either Wednesday morning for games or at the HOME meet on Wednesday evening.
The Colonial League RELAY CARNIVAL is on Sunday July 9th, 8:00 am at Sugarland Run (200 Greenfield Ct, Sterling VA).
Wednesday July 5: Developmental Meet #3 HOME v. Chinquapin Wahoos, 6:00 pm
Swimmers should arrive by 4:30pm.
Warm-ups start at 4:45pm

Who: 13 & 14 year old Mackerels
What: Pizza and Bowling
Please bring $20 to cover food and games.

Monday July 10: CSL IM Invitational Meet, 4:50 pm
Where: Chantilly National Golf & Country Club (14901 Braddock Road, Centreville VA 20120)
We will split the meet up into two groups: 10 and under and 11 and up. Sessions are detailed at the time below:

The best week of the year is coming…HOLY MACKEREL WEEK is July 10-16th! Details will be sent this week for all our fun.
Wednesday July 19th is our annual Mackerel School Showdown, this meet is for swimmers not competing at the Red Division Qualifier. It will be the last event in our mackerel competition. More information to come.
Saturday July 22 is the Red Division Qualifier (aka Divisionals) at Cascades. This meet is the qualifier meet for All Stars on July 29. Due to the number of events and entry limits, if your swimmer is ranked in our top 8 for any event, there is a chance they could swim at Divisionals. Please let me know if your swimmr(s) cannot swim on July 22.
Sunday July 23 is our annual Award Ceremony! Followed by team mini golf.
